Cremorne Point is located on a peninsula of land, perfectly placed on the Lower North Shore of Sydney Harbour separating Shell Cove from Mosman Bay.

Transport

  • There is no designated parking. Parking is on Milson Road behind the apartment building, which is a quiet area. Some areas have restricted parking.
  • Ferries run between Cremorne Point and Circular Quay every 30 minutes Monday to Friday, and every hour on weekends.
  • A peaceful ferry ride across the harbour will have you at Circular Quay in just 10 minutes, which is the gateway to the CBD and the transport hub of Sydney. Here you can easily access a huge variety of tourist attractions by ferry, bus, train, tram or taxi.
  • Buses run from Cremorne Wharf, via Milson Road, to Neutral Bay Wharf via the Military Road restaurant strip.
  • If you prefer to drive, the city’s system of motorways and tunnels link just a short distance from the apartment and will take you anywhere you want to go in Sydney or beyond.

  • Opera House tour.
  • Harbour Bridge walk, or visit the Pylon Lookout on the bridge.
  • Ferry to Manly (about 30 minutes) – walk up the Corso (Main Street) and buy fish and chips to eat across the road on Manly beach.
  • Lunch at Darling Harbour.
  • Drink or cocktails at Blue Bar on 36 in the Shangri-La Hotel at Circular Quay. It offers breathtaking harbour views, but be there early to get a good seat. Opens 4pm Friday and Saturday evenings, and 5pm other days.
  • Walk around The Rocks – a 2 minute walk from Circular Quay. Food markets on Friday and general markets on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Bondi Beach to Bronte walk, and if feeling energetic continue on to Coogee Beach (approx. 1.5 hours) then catch a bus back to Circular Quay.
  • Manly to Spit Bridge walk.
  • A visit to Watsons Bay and South Head.
  • Sydney Aquarium and Taronga Zoo (especially if you have children).
