If are staying at the Sydney Harbour View Apartment, the Cremorne Point Foreshore Walk an easy 3km walk, is on you doorstep. Take the footpath and head south-east.

After one minute you will be at the MacCallum Pool, a 33 metre pool that overlooks the harbour. This is a popular swimming location that started out as a rock pool created by the local residents to form a safe harbour swimming hole. The pool dates back to the nineteen-twenties and has been restored in keeping with this heritage. The unique waterside timber deck is an unparalleled sunbathing spot.

You can swim laps against the backdrop of the Sydney CBD skyline, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.

Look and admire the spectacular panoramic view of the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the city skyline. The Royal Botanic Gardens can also be seen adjacent to and to the east of the Opera House.

Continue along the foreshore walk for another five minutes and you are at the Cremorne Point Wharf. From here ferries run every half-hour to and from the city and round the point to Mosman Bay. Enjoy a coffee and some light refreshments.

Another five minutes in the same direction will get you to the lighthouse on Robertson’s Point, the extreme end of Cremorne Point. It was constructed in 1910 .The view of the harbour from here extends around three hundred degrees, a wonderful vantage point for watching the yacht races and all the life of the busy harbour.

Head along the eastern foreshore of Cremorne Point and time will be forgotten. There are too many things to look at: impressive mansions; the shipyard; the boats at their moorings; historic ferry wharves; the old deco houses; the gardens, and Mosman Bay.

Past the Rowers Club- or stop for a drink and meal- and you will see the boats at the marina and then Mosman Wharf. Have a coffee there and catch the ferry back!
