Barangaroo Reserve is one of Sydney’s newest Harbour foreshore parks, opening in 2015 and is a six hectare headland open space which features a reconstructed, naturalistic headland based around the pre-1836 shoreline for locals and visitors to embrace and enjoy.

It is now home to more than 75,000 native trees, scrubs, walking and cycling paths, restaurants, shops and event and exhibition space.

As well as providing a new perspective on Sydney’s harbour, the Barangaroo Reserve features a number of idyllic coves, picnic spots and look-outs.

It was named after an influential female indigenous leader at the time of European colonisation.

It is the perfect spot for a harbour side picnic. You can BYO blanket, picnic and drinks.
